There is also a basic roughness counter available for roughness surveys which is called miniROMDAS (now enhanced with GPS). This uses a Windows Mobile based datalogger to record the data and offers a more economical alternative to the full ROMDAS System. With an integrated trip meter, it is a versatile and self contained unit.
