ROMDAS User Conference

ROMDAS enjoys a large customer base spread over all parts of the world, more than any other similar road and pavement data collection system. The ROMDAS inaugural User Conference was held on the 4th and 5th of October 2007 at THE AMBASSADOR HOTEL (Taj Business Hotel), Sujan Singh Park Cornwallis Road, New Delhi, India.

The User Conference was a huge success with delegates attending from Client organizations, consultants, contractors, educational institutes and research institutes. Representatives from Bangladesh, Fiji and USA were also present and have shared their experiences in undertaking road and pavement data collection using ROMDAS. A special mention goes to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Kingdom of Cambodia for sending their presentation on using ROMDAS in determining the national road maintenance needs. They couldn't attend the conference due to other prior commitments.

The conference presentations/proceedings are given below:

Overview of ROMDAS System

Overview of ROMDAS Products

Use of ROMDAS System for Network Level Surveys – A Case Study from Kingdom of Cambodia

Effective Data Collection For ‘Road Management Systems’ with Peer Reference To ROMDAS – Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project

Comparison of Roughness Calibration Equipment – with a View to Increased Confidence in Network Level Data

ROMDAS - The Way Forward
