SPAN Consultants Pvt. Ltd. obtained a ROMDAS system in 1999 for rutting, video, GPS and roughness measurements on various PCC projects. |

In May 1999 May Associates from the U.K. used ROMDAS to collect data for the Karnataka PCC project. |

Kinhill Pty. of Australia used ROMDAS in 1997 for the Tamil Nadu PCC for a location reference survey followed by a roughness/video survey. |

Since 1994 Lea Associates South Asia (LASA) Ltd. have used ROMDAS for roughness measurements in a number of studies. In 1997 as part of the Gujarat PCC, 2,600 lane-km of roughness and video surveys were conducted by LASA in 20 days. |

Philippines |

In late 1999/2000 Africon Consultants did a major centreline survey for the DPWH. This will see over 29,000 lane-km of centrelines on 42 islands surveyed using GPS. At the same time, they are collecting roughness and video data, the latter with direct digitising of images in real-time. They also positioned location reference points using the Laser Surveyor option and took digital photos which were integrated with the LRP data. |
